The Sacraments
The whole liturgical life of the Church revolves around the Eucharistic sacrifice and the Sacraments. There are seven Sacraments in the Church: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony.
The Sacraments are "powers that come forth" from the ever-living and life-giving Body of Christ. They are actions of the Holy Spirit at work in His Body, the Church. As "the masterworks of God," they are at the heart of the new and everlasting covenant.
La vida litúrgica de toda la Iglesia gira en torno al sacrificio eucarístico y los Sacramentos. La Iglesia celebra siete Sacramentos: Bautismo, Confirmación, Eucaristía, Reconciliación, Unción de los Enfermos, Orden Sagrado y Matrimonio.
Los Sacramentos son "poderes que emanan" del Cuerpo de Cristo, que es siempre vivo y vivificante. Son acciones del Espíritu Santo que actúan en Su Cuerpo, la Iglesia. Como "las obras maestras de Dios," están en el centro de la nueva y eterna alianza.

The Liturgy/La Liturgia
In the Church's liturgy, the divine blessing is fully revealed and communicated. Our Heavenly Father is acknowledged and adored as the source and end of all the blessings of creation and salvation. In His Word who became incarnate, died, and rose for us, he fills us with his blessings. Through His Word, He pours into our hearts the Gift that contains all gifts, the Holy Spirit.
En la liturgia de la Iglesia, la bendición divina se revela y se comunica plenamente. Nuestro Padre Celestial es reconocido y adorado como la fuente y el fin de todas las bendiciones de la creación y la salvación. En su Palabra, que se hizo carne, murió y resucitó por nosotros, nos colma de sus bendiciones. A través de su Palabra, derrama en nuestros corazones el Don que contiene todos los dones, el Espíritu Santo.

Baptism
The first of the seven sacraments, and the "door" which gives access to the other sacraments. Baptism is the first and chief sacrament of forgiveness of sins because it unites us with Christ, who died for our sins and rose for our justification.
Baptisms are celebrated once per month in English and twice in Spanish, Saturday 11 AM. Please call the office for more information (928)782-7516.
BautismoEl primero de los siete sacramentos y la "puerta" que da acceso a los demás sacramentos. El Bautismo es el primer y principal sacramento del perdón de los pecados, porque nos une a Cristo, quien murió por nuestros pecados y resucitó para nuestra justificación.

Reconciliation
The sacramental celebration in which, through God's mercy and forgiveness, the sinner is reconciled with God and also with the Church, Christ's Body, which is wounded by sin.

Eucharist
“I am the living bread that came down from heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he will live for ever; . . . he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and . . . abides in me, and I in him” (Jn 6:51, 54, 56).
And as they were eating He took bread and blessed and broke it and gave it to them and said, ‘Take, this is my body.’ And He took a cup and when He had given thanks, He gave it to them and they all drank of it and He said to them, ‘This is my blood of the New Covenant which is poured out for many (Mark 14: 22-24).
The ritual, sacramental action of thanksgiving to God which constitutes the principal Christian liturgical celebration of and communion in the paschal mystery of Christ.
Eucaristía
"Yo soy el pan vivo que ha bajado del cielo; el que coma de este pan vivirá para siempre. . . . El que come mi carne y bebe mi sangre tiene vida eterna y . . . permanece en mí y yo en él." (Jn 6:51, 54, 56)
"Mientras comían, tomó Jesús pan, lo bendijo, lo partió y se lo dio, diciendo: ‘Tomen, esto es mi cuerpo.’ Luego tomó una copa, dio gracias, se la entregó y todos bebieron de ella. Y les dijo: ‘Esta es mi sangre de la nueva alianza, que es derramada por muchos.’" (Mc 14:22-24) La acción ritual y sacramental de acción de gracias a Dios, que constituye la principal celebración litúrgica cristiana y comunión en el misterio pascual de Cristo.

Confirmation
Confirmation completes the grace of Baptism by a special outpouring of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which seal or "confirm" the baptized in union with Christ and equip them for active participation in the worship and apostolic life of the Church.
Requirements: Eligible students must be in 8th grade, at least 13 years old, or in high school. They must complete 20 hours of community service and attend the Confirmation retreat.

Confirmación
La Confirmación completa la gracia del Bautismo mediante una efusión especial de los dones del Espíritu Santo, que sella o "confirma" al bautizado en unión con Cristo y lo capacita para una participación activa en la adoración y la vida apostólica de la Iglesia.
Requisitos: Los estudiantes elegibles deben estar en 8.º grado, tener al menos 13 años o estar en escuela secundaria. Marriage
A covenant or partnership of life between a man and woman, which is ordered to the well-being of the spouses and to the procreation and upbringing of children.
Marriage registration forms are needed six months prior to date of marriage to satisfy requirements. For further information contact the office (928)782-7516

Anointing of the Sick
The Anointing of the Sick is a sacrament administered by a priest to a baptized person who is seriously ill, elderly, or in danger of death due to illness or old age. Through prayer and the anointing of the forehead and hands with the Oil of the Sick, the priest invokes God’s grace for spiritual strength, healing, and the forgiveness of sins. This sacrament is not only for those at the point of death but also for anyone suffering from a serious illness or preparing for major surgery. It allows the sick to unite their suffering with Christ, strengthens their faith, and offers the possibility of physical healing according to God’s will. When received near death, it is often accompanied by Viaticum, the final Eucharist given as spiritual nourishment for the journey to eternal life. Those in need of this sacrament are encouraged to seek it early, rather than waiting until the last moments of life, so they may fully receive its graces and the Church’s prayers for healing and peace.

Unción de los Enfermos
La Unción de los Enfermos es un sacramento administrado por un sacerdote a una persona bautizada que está gravemente enferma, anciana o en peligro de muerte debido a una enfermedad o vejez. A través de la oración y la unción de la frente y las manos con el Óleo de los Enfermos, el sacerdote invoca la gracia de Dios para dar fortaleza espiritual, sanación y el perdón de los pecados. Este sacramento no es solo para quienes están en el umbral de la muerte, sino también para aquellos que padecen una enfermedad grave o se preparan para una cirugía importante. Permite a los enfermos unir su sufrimiento con Cristo, fortalece su fe y ofrece la posibilidad de sanación física según la voluntad de Dios. OCIA - Order of Christian Initiation of Adults
The OCIA is designed for adults who consciously and freely seek the living God and wish to enter the path of faith and conversion, as the Holy Spirit opens their hearts. This process includes a series of rites celebrated within the context of learning about the Catholic faith and spiritual formation, through which a person is fully incorporated into the Body of Christ, the Church.
Those who have not been baptized and wish to enter the Catholic Church are invited to begin this journey. Additionally, adults who were baptized Catholic but have not yet received the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Communion are encouraged to participate in preparation for full Christian Initiation.
